ABOUT DR. CRANK
He’s performed field work over the last two decades in more than forty countries. He received a PhD (The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) and an MFA (University of Pittsburgh).
He is an expert in the practice of Sonic Modernity and Corporal Performance.
He taught critical thinking, cultural studies, mindset history, and writing at the UNAM, Portland State University, the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, UNC-Chapel Hill, the University of Pittsburgh, High Point University, and the University of Denver.
He’s been invited to deliver talks about his literary work and research at various universities and international congresses, such as The University of California-Berkeley, Emory University, Texas State University, Duke University, and the LASA International Congress in New York City, Chicago, and Barcelona.
